Caveats & watch-outs
⚠ USAID — suspended
Treat USAID-branded programs as inactive until the US Embassy publishes reactivation.
⚠ “Grant” sometimes means “subsidised loan”
Programul 373, FACEM Impact, and parts of EU4Business-EBRD are not non-reimbursable grants.
⚠ Equity vs. grant
EIT Food FAN uses a SAFE. Dreamups/Mozaic take direct equity. Check the tags on each card.
⚠ Co-financing is real money
CREȘTEM IMM Green: 50%. Digital/Tech: 65%. AIPA reimburses after you spend — you front the cost.
⚠ Calls reset annually
ODA relaunched all 8 calls Feb 2026. AIPA publishes annual subsidy orders each spring. Bookmark official links.
⚠ This guide is a map, not a rulebook
Always verify against the official program page before submitting. For Horizon/Interreg, consult ANITT and the EU Delegation.
